Company.  Blakely Mass Choir has been in existence for 34 years will celebrate their 35th choir anniversary February 2024.

•In 2015 Blakely Mass Choir released their first CD written and arranged by Minister Frederick Shorter. In 2016 the CD was
nominated for 6 awards by the National and Independent Gospel Music Association.  In 2017 the choir won in two(2) categories: Song of the Year “I’ve Got To Tell It” & Traditional Choir of the Year.

•2019 the choir was inducted into the Living Legend Hall of Fame by the National and Independent Gospel Music Association in Baton Rouge, LA.

•2021 in Memphis, Tennessee, the National and Independent Gospel Music Association awarded the Blakely Mass Choir awards for Best Recording Artist with Featured Soloist and Traditional Choir of the Year.

•2023, Frederick Shorter and The Blakely Mass Choir was nominated for three (3) awards
