The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority is providing an update on the work being done to combat tuberculosis in its communities.

The health authority is still battling three outbreaks which have been impacting four communities.

However, NITHA Medical Health Officer Dr. Nnamdi (Nam-Dee) Ndubuka (Inn-Dah-Boo-Ka-Ah) says the number of active cases is going down.

He recently spoke with MBC about the TB situation in the north.
