We often doubt God’s promises and rely on our own power rather than rely on God’s power. This produces a fragmented allegiance to God. We trust him in some areas and not in others. The gospel teaches us that God made a new covenant that promises a new land delivered through his presence on this earth. A new heaven and a new earth coming through the power of his son Jesus. Because of Jesus we can trust God to fulfill all of his promises here on earth and in eternity.
