With the world being crazy as it is. Are we supposed to shelter our kids?

With all the violence in this world. Its hard not to be scared of what could possibly happen to our kids out there!

What else can we do?  We want them to learn a little street smarts. We want them to have experiences and gain a little independence. But at what cost???

After learning of a senseless murder on the subway line of a 16 year old boy in our community. We wanted to lock our kids in the basement, and home school them.

Not to mention other things like dating, First time driving, drugs, Fighting and so on. The worry will never end.
