About

Showers and storms will develop west of I-35 early this morning, then spread east across the I-35 corridor mid to late morning, and then across the far eastern counties early this afternoon. A few strong to severe storms may occur, mainly across eastern portions of Central Texas. Hail and gusty winds will be the primary hazards.

Prepare for strong winds Monday afternoon through Tuesday. Sustained winds of 25-30 mph are expected with gusts approaching 45 mph. There is a 10% chance of gusts closer to 55 mph before sunrise Tuesday. A Wind Advisory will begin at noon Monday west of I-35 followed by 7 pm along and east of I-35.

A mid-week warmup will be followed by a strong Friday cold front and much colder weather for this weekend!
