About

Why does God allow bad things to happen? Does God even care when things take a terrible turn in our lives?

As our current study series draws to a close, I'm reminded of the truth that pain and suffering can be divine tools for growth and transformation. As we contemplate the sovereignty of Jesus through the lens of historical and biblical figures, we find comfort in the omnipotence of God.

Exploring the balance of God's control and our human response has never been more important. The rich scriptural insights from Isaiah and James serve as beacons for our own lives, guiding us through the complexities of honoring God's sovereignty while actively engaging in prayer and trust. This discussion takes us further into understanding how every trial and victory can magnify His power in our vulnerability, and how our actions can glorify Him against the backdrop of His higher wisdom.

As I share a portion of the story of one of my wife's medical procedures, it's a testament to the power of prayer and the healing that comes from surrendering to God's will. This narrative isn't just my own—it's an invitation for all to see God's hand at work in every facet of our lives.

Next week we start our new series "The Battle Within - Overcoming the Invisible War". This upcoming series promises to arm you with knowledge and spiritual armor to confront life-controlling issues, continuing our pursuit of deeper faith and understanding.
