About

The Johnny Mac Tennis Project (JMTP) has a mission to change young lives by removing the racial, economic and social barriers to success through tennis. This 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by tennis legend John McEnroe, and introduces the sport of tennis as a life-long health, fitness and social activity to thousands of under-resourced New York City area children. Joining me on this episode is the Executive Director at the Johnny Mac Tennis Project, Ryann Cutillo!

Ryann shares her experience in the tennis world and how she landed at the JMTP. She explains how the foundation formed, how hands on John (and Patrick McEnroe) are and how the players join the program and matriculate through.  Other things to listen for:

- Fun stories about John & Patrick on site

- How a program like this can change lives

- How you can get involved

- How much donations mean to this organization

- BNP Paribas Mac 1

- Stand out players to keep an eye on

- On and off court achievements that stand out; stories how kids lives have visibly been changed for the better

- Whats on the horizon?
