This week, we're back with a story from our home area, and this one is nasty. In December 1917, two ships barely ran into each other in the Halifax Harbour (which is next to the cities of Halifax and Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada), and within 30 minutes of the collision, half of Halifax was no more. In this episode, we cover the how this even happened (it was war time), what exactly happened (ammo ship went boom), and what happened to the cities Halifax and Dartmouth.
