The Oilers just keep winning hockey games, which meant there was plenty to talk about on the Monday episode of the Real Life Podcast.
Kicking off the Monday episode of Real Life, the boys got started with some Oilers talk after the team won its seventh consecutive game and how it's been fun to watch the team rebound after such a disastrous start. That's not to say there's not plenty of work left to do, but the way the Oilers are playing right now is inspiring a sense of confidence that they'll be able to drag themselves back into a playoff position. Sticking with yesterday's game, Wanye took Wanye Jr. to his first NHL game and told the story of what it was like to have the little man experiencing the day. Changing gears, the guys looked at Ohtani Watch that took over the country on Friday and how it was a wild rollercoaster of emotions as everyone went from thinking he was signing in Toronto to obviously ending up with the LA Dodgers. Pivoting once more, Jay went to the FIS Big Air World Cup at Commonwealth Stadium and ended up having a blast despite the fact that it wasn't well advertised this year. Lastly, the guys wrapped up the podcast with a business chat after Wanye watched the Blackberry movie about the company's demise after the launch of the iPhone.
