Long before Hinge, Bumble, or whatever new dating app everyone uses that I've never heard of because I'm 85 years old, there was AOL Instant Messenger. Of course it wasn't specifically used to hook up but conversations could get real steamy, real quick. Michael Sandy found out the hard way that this can also lead to unintended outcomes.
