Bitecofer graduated from the University of Oregon where she earned a bachelor's degree in political science and earned her Ph.D. in political science and international affairs from the University of Georgia. In 2015 she became a lecturer at Christopher Newport University and assistant director of the Wason Center for Public Policy where she conducted polling. Sonia Van Meter

Sonia Van Meter is the Managing Partner of Stanford Campaigns. She moved to Austin in 2003 to attend graduate school at the University of Texas at Austin, but soon found she preferred activism to academia. Following a stint in sales, she joined Stanford Campaigns in 2009 and quickly found a professional home. Now in her thirteenth year in the political consulting industry, Sonia has worked hundreds of campaigns and IEs all over the country, from city council bids to gubernatorial and US Senate runs. In 2013 Sonia was made a Partner of Stanford Campaigns, and development and client relations became her focus. She continues that work today, bringing the good word of opposition research to democratic campaigns and causes up and down the ballot nationwide. Sonia has worked alongside the DCCC, the DGA, EMILY’s List, and Planned Parenthood, as well as dozens of corporate clients in need of due diligence research. She also routinely speaks publicly on the merits of opposition research and the opportunities and challenges that come with political small business ownership. Sonia is a cum laude graduate of Georgia State University where she earned her B.A. in Sociology. When she’s not digging up dirt on politicians, you can find her enjoying a bourbon, playing bass with her band, or marveling at her husband’s latest pun.

Logan Phillips

Logan founded RacetotheWH when he was a graduate student at Columbia. He started building the foundation for the website during his Presidential Campaign Management class taught by Professor Karrine Jeanne Pierre, who would later become President Biden’s Press Secretary. Before Graduate School, Logan gained experience in American politics both in D.C. and around the country. He worked in President Obama's White House as an intern for the Department of Scheduling and Advance. He’s worked on Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential campaign and Connecticut Governor Dan Malloy’s Re-Election. He also worked on the political team for the American Institute of Architecture. Finally, his undergraduate degree was at Gettysburg College, where he studied political science, with a focus on presidential decision-making. He launched RacetotheWH in June 2020. It proved to be highly accurate in its first election cycle, although it initially received limited attention. Viewership exploded in 2022, when it was used by over 2 million Americans across the country, and viewed over 7 million times.  Logan takes a scientific approach to building election models. He rigorously tests his models on decades of past election cycles to ensure accuracy. Whenever he develops a new theory to enhance his models, he subjects it to thorough testing. This ensures any changes genuinely improve the model's predictions. It’s time-consuming and has taken thousands of hours, but it leads to the best model possible.
