About

Monica and Camille get a studio visit from friend-of-the-pod Alexandra van Houtte, founder and CEO of tag-walk.com, fashion’s first online search engine. At 29 Alexandra is already a key figure in the fashion tech landscape, having dreamt up the idea of a keyword search database for stylists and journalists in need of a reference centre for runway pieces, new designers and trends. Alexandra had the idea while working as a frustrated stylist at Paris fashion glossies, identifying a missing tool while planning shoots for editors late into the night.

When she launched Tagwalk three years ago from her sofa, investors turned her down and the press was slow to catch on to the concept. Today, Alexandra is on Vanity Fair’s list of the world’s 50 most influential French people. How did she ascend to fashion greatness in such a short period of time? Who are the mentors that kept her focused on the big picture? How did she learn to be a good boss? Tune in for all this and a couple good chuckles!
