Our final review of the weekly episodes of Nancy Drew :( We discuss the wrap up of the season and the wrap up of the the series as a whole. We are here for the Drew Crew and Nace Nation and the epic reveal in the last few seconds.
The penultimate episode has so much great character moments. We discuss the growth of characters, where they're headed and what we want for them, and we also discuss that small plot thing that's always going on. How much damage did the Drew Crew end up causing? Can Nancy and Ace get over their curse and their issues? We'll find out next week!
I don't know how an episode that is about sacrificing one of our main characters can be so charming and unifying, but the Drew Crew manages to pull it off. Can't believe we only have two episodes left before the series finale!
What an action-packed episode! Did Tristan surpass Park as Ben's favorite? What did Nancy do? Too many questions and not enough answers.
The Drew Crew is ready to take on the Sin Eater with some help from unexpected people, and Bess finally goes to trial to face the charges against her. Now we're faced with a terrible cliff hanger and we can't figure out what's next! Also, who the heck is Ace talking to?
Is this our favorite episode ever? So many great things to love - body swaps, high emotions, amazing character moments. Please forgive the barking at the end - Ben's sugar bears got a little excited :)
Who doesn't love a game night? The Drew Crew seance-turned-haunted board game night has lots of ups and downs and this episode is hilarious and 80s-riffic. Nick-er-son! Nick-er-son!!!
Sarah is throwing around so many wild predictions just to avoid thinking about the spiders in this episode. This episode is slightly unhinged, but what if we're right??
Nancy follows the trail of the teeth that fell from the 8 reanimated bodies in order to find out what killed them, and one of the top creepy moments of the show when we find out what did. We also discuss speed dating, dentists, and our (Sarah's) dread for next week's spider episode.
Lots of people are processing their feelings this episode in a mostly healthy and legal way. Also, they're filming Longhorn! errr Longclaw! I mean Longhook!
This is a super-happy episode where everything works out and nobody is unhappy! I'm lying. There is heartbreak and emotions and tears all over the place both in the show and with us. We discuss the episode, predictions, and coin the term halluci-nace-tion.
Bro Nancy is a character I want to watch every day, but hope I never encounter in real life. Such a fun episode though and love all the character moments and relationship progress for the whole Drew Crew, whether it's learning to navigate as friends or what it means to be a partner.
Ahhh we can't believe Nancy Drew season 4 is here!!! Sorry for the long episode, but we had a lot to talk about between the breaking glasses and crashing cars and lobster boys. This season is going to be wild and we can't wait to get into it!
Ben and Sarah are back to go over the last three seasons of Nancy Drew, talk about the season 4 trailer, and make all the predictions we want in this last season.
We have special guest Elaina from @BookshelfRemix Podcast to discuss the Nancy Drew Files book Til Death Do Us Part and also discuss our predictions and thoughts on Season 4.
Bonus episode of the show where we play Would You Rather set in the Drewniverse.
Calling all Drewds! We had the honor and privilege to talk with Nancy Drew executive producer and co-creator of Tom Swift: Melinda Hsu Taylor!!! We talk first season of Tom Swift and you know we asked about season 4 of Nancy and what may be to come.
If you haven't watched Tom Swift yet, go check it out! The show is in danger of being canceled, so it needs all the streams and live watches you can do to save the Drewniverse. Also, it's just a really good show that you should watch.
We're back with our fourth (and final) Sidebars with Veronica Mars covering the movie and the fourth season. If you haven't watched the show yet, go do that because we have all sorts of spoilers in here.
We're back with another Sidebars with Veronica Mars episode! This time we talk about season three.
It's the season three finale and we are so not ready for it. We had tears, we had cheers, we had laughs, we had heartbreak. Can't wait until season four!
It's the penultimate episode of season 3, and we're not ready for it to end! This episode was a lot about characters blaming themselves, but even more about friends building each other up and we loved it. Plus a major win for the Drew Crew!
We can't believe there are only two more episodes after this!! Another great performance from everyone as they navigate their way through a trial and murder attempt. We discuss the episode and also touch back on those Tarot card readings that seem pretty important.
What could go wrong when a truth spell hits everyone at a fancy ball? This episode has outfoxing, coat closet excitement, heartbreak, and more.
Because we can't NOT talk about strong female detective characters, we are putting out our second episode of Sidebars with Veronica Mars during the midseason season 3 break to discuss the second season of Veronica Mars.
The mid-season finale did not disappoint! We can wait for more Pancy and Nace in the last four episodes - and for more Boss Bess!
As much as we dislike what Temperence does, we have to admit she is very good at it. This episode gave us some awesome Park story, Pancy hopes, and lots lots more.
So, everyone cried while watching, right? Not just us? This episode was a roller coaster of emotions, and so many victories, and so much heartbreak.
It's a good thing we're not Nancy and Ryan, because there's no way you'd find us down in a monster's lair. But I'm glad they went because they gave us all the clues and all the feels.
Okay, Drew Crew. We need to work on our communication skills. Episode 5 had A LOT going on and brought up so many good questions. Can't wait to see where it goes!
