Hour 2

The 7am hour starts with talk about the Mets expectations this season. It’s World Series or bust. That’s the expectation of the team and the fans. Gio wonders if you can buy Mets playoff tickets yet. Jerry returns for another update but first we take a call from someone who was at an 83 year old woman’s funeral and she had a Boomer Jets jersey there. The Yankees lost 1-0 in Seattle in 13 innings. They were shut down by Luis Castillo and wasted a solid start by Gerrit Cole. Everything is going the Mets’ way, they beat the Reds again last night. Nelson Figueroa threw 119 pitches for the Staten Island Ferryhawks as an emergency pitcher last night. And Mike Tomlin talked about the Steelers QB situation. In the final segment of the hour, we talk about the Lions on Hard Knocks and how it’s pretty much the same thing every year. Boomer & Gio can’t wait to hear Dolphins coach Mike McDaniels audio all season long. Boomer was impressed with Zach Wilson yesterday and said he seems a lot more mature than last year.
