Walt Disney shares lifted 4.7% after the media giant posted stronger-than-expected subscriber numbers for the last quarter. The Dow Jones index closed up by 27 points or 0.1%. But the S&P 500 index fell by 0.1% and the Nasdaq index slid 75 points or 0.6%.
