Day Two is now in the books, I reminisce about what it was like when I had to cover 50 rounds instead of just 20. I explain how I called my shot and predicted Brock Porter to the Rangers, the highest-rated player on every board. I also get into the handful of players drafted from Ohio. The first Ohio college player actually was from Notre Dame College near Cleveland with Ben Ross going to the Twins. We also had players drafted from Ohio State, Toledo, Youngstown State, and Miami University as well as indirectly players from Kent State and Ohio University. 

Next, we focus on the eight players the Guardians drafted and discuss why it is that even though they have grabbed some really interesting players none of them crack the Guardian's top ten prospects for me. There is a chance that it might happen at the end of the year if a few players graduate but not yet. I give a snapshot of the Guardians Day two talking about all of the players.

We focus on the first pick of the day Joe Lampe, who strikes me more likely as a fourth outfielder. Then I switch to focus on the three players who went against type for them. Guy Limpscomb Jr. and Nate Furman were a pair of draft-eligible sophomores who are undersized but showed plus speed, plus contact skills, and strong walk rates. Javier Santos is a 19-year-old high school pitcher from the same program as Daniel Espino. I end with the five best draft names so far, based on discussions on Twitter during the draft. Are they risky to say when it's a person's name?
