Actor/Writer John Flynn ( Baked!: Sex, Drugs, and Alternative Comedy, Upright Citizen Brigade) was working with the UCB theater in New York and needed money to fly his acting troupe to San Francisco to perform in Showgirls: The Best Movie Ever Made! Ever! To get the capital, he started a VERY successful marijuana cookie business. And the rest is history! (well, for a few years anyways)
