Proverbs tells us that if we repay evil for the good done toward us, evil will not depart from our house. You cannot return evil after good has been shown to you without first becoming ungrateful for what was done, so how can people who were once grateful become ungrateful? There were people in the word filled with gratitude for what God had done, or what others had done for them in the name of God, but later became ungrateful and repaid evil for the good they received? If I am going to prevent this from ever happening to me, I have to know how this happens?

In this service we will look at one such example. A person who had great kindness demonstrated but repaid it years later with evil. He didn’t just forget what the good was; something very sinister was at work. How did he get to such an evil place?
