Just a week after a fire call to the Louisiana-Pacific OSB plant on the southside of Thomasville, firefighters were back Monday afternoon, Aug. 1 for another fire. The call came in between 4:30 and 5 p.m. This fire, like the others, involved chips that caught fire. Wood chips are used in the manufacature of OSB. Grove Hill and Fulton firefighters responded and the fire was soon under control. The extent of the damage isn’t known.
