An individual involved in a July 19 running shooting along Highway 43 in Thomasville now has charges and is being sought. Jakerean Dewayl Tate, 21, is charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle, receiving stolen property and posession of marijuana, first degree, said Police Chief Mitchell Stuckey. He is a black male, 5’8”, 140 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. Tate was initially identified as a victim in the July 19 shooting, having been shot in the buttocks but not seriously injured.
