The Grove Hill Volunteer Fire Department responded to an 18-wheeler on fire on South Jackson Street in Grove Hill Monday afternoon. The fire had been put out with hand-held fire extinguishers by the time firemen arrived. It was a busy afternoon with a lightning strike call and then a call for assistance with a fire at the Louisana Pacific mill.
