Starting off in the Bistro Cafe, Trump and his allies are on edge as former Trump White House counsel Pat Cipollone is set to testify before the J6 committee, under oath.

On the rest of the menu, acting as his own lawyer, a former CIA software engineer accused of stealing the largest trove of data in CIA history, told a jury that there’s not enough evidence to convict him of espionage; the MAGAt spectacle in Michigan is threatening the GOP’s bid for governor; and, the IRS commissioner asked the Treasury Department’s internal watchdog to immediately review the suspicious tax audits of James Comey and Andrew McCabe.

After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where two leading human rights groups accused Egyptian authorities of failing to conduct an impartial and transparent investigation into the suspicious death of an economic researcher in custody; and, the European Union Parliament condemned the US abortion ruling and will seek safeguards to be enshrined in the EU’s fundamental rights charter.
