But we can be free to be ourselves, free to be me.   HERE ARE THE HIGHLIGHTS: (01:46) What are we afraid of? (04:31) Leaving felt too hard to do (13:15) We store trauma in our bodies (15:52) We can find freedom (16:22) We need to have compassion for ourselves (18:36) The poem ‘She Let Go’ by Rev. Season 2 - Ep 02: Helping Female Business Owners Overcome Overwhelm with Michael M

This week, I am joined by a very special guest Michael Mahy. He is a life coach specialising in supporting female business leaders who experience overwhelm to get their mojo back. We will be discussing his background in scuba diving, how he became a life coach and how his HABITS system can help those who are struggling.  HERE ARE THE HIGHLIGHTS: (02:29) I look for adventure in everything (06:25) Michael’s journey to becoming a life coach (11:14) Why he wanted to work with women (15:26) Michael’s HABITS system (21:00) Building client’s confidence (32:19) Words of encouragement would be “you are worthy”   CONNECT WITH MARCIA: Website: https://lifeinspiredwellness.com/ Email: hello@lifeinspiredwellness.com  LinkedIn: @marciahylton Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/marcia.hylton.5/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Lifeinspiredwellness   ABOUT MICHAEL: I have been a professional diver for over 25 years. As an instructor, I have helped hundreds overcome their fears of physical harm, embarrassment and failure. Witnessing my students going through transformations from fear to joy, doubt to success, tension to relief, feeling trapped to the freedom that comes from a new perspective has driven me through the quagmire of fear, doubt and anxiety and to embrace life and adventure. I moved to the UK from the Caribbean in 2010 and retrained from recreational dive instructor to industrial commercial diver - ship salvage, underwater maintenance and in-shore/off-shore operations. I went through a period of feeling disconnected and adrift from the deeply emotional human connection that I experienced whilst engaging in dive instruction. Through my discovery of the concepts of life coaching I have reconnected and developed relationships that support individuals in discovering what holds them back from living the life that they desire but they may not think they can achieve. I have two sons and live on the outskirts of London, in Teddington, with my wife and youngest boy.  CONNECT WITH MICHAEL: Website: https://www.michaelmahy.co.uk/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/michael-mahy/\ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/michaelmahylifecoach/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/michaelmahylifecoach/

Ep 001: Three signs you may be in a relationship with a narcissist

In this first episode I share what narcissism actually is as I think it’s important for us to have a better understanding of what it is and how it can affect us. Also, to be able to have a better understanding of what it is so we can better protect ourselves. Narcissism is a word that's become popular in recent times to describe anyone who is a bit self-absorbed, and the word narcissist gets thrown about frequently. However, we have to realise that this is in fact, a serious personality disorder, and it requires that a person must meet certain criteria to have a clinical diagnosis of narcissistic personality disorder or NPD.    HERE ARE THE HIGHLIGHTS FROM THIS EPISODE: {1:30} Prevalence of NPD {2:04} The 9 criteria for a clinical diagnosis of NPD {5:17} 3 signs you’re in a relationship with a narcissist {8:10} How to protect yourself from a narcissist   You can connect with me at marciahyltonwellness@gmail.com Download my ebook here https://www.subscribepage.com/breakthecycleofpain
