As training, fitness, and health are paramount for both Bruno and Aron, they dive into diet, exercise, the sugar epidemic, and the importance of daily water intake. Little more about Bruno: Bruno retired in 2023 from a combined 40+ years of active duty and DOD government civilian service. His active-duty service was as a US Army Ranger, Special Forces operator, and Night Stalker flight lead. Bruno accumulated over eight years of combat/imminent danger service while on active duty. He then spent over a decade as a civilian with Naval Special Warfare Development Group in their operations directorate and as the director of urban training. Bruno was recruited by Born Primitive in late 2022 to develop our Tactical apparel and create a line best suited for law enforcement and global military units to better conduct their mission.

Aron has been testing broadheads since Christ was a kid. With hundreds of animals taken with dozens of various broadheads over the years, this multi year endeavor has culminated in this extensive review. Aron put the final paces on several brands including Schwacker, Evolution, Sevr, Grim Reaper, G5, Bowmar Archery, RMG Gear, Iron Will, Annihilator, Black Hornet, VPA, and Slick Trick. With the help of good friend John Lusk from Lusk Archery Adventures, they discuss their findings from testing all the broadheads. John is an engineer by education, so his tests are setup to run each broadheads through the same tests to provide comparable data points. He tests for cut size, penetration, edge sharpness, edge retention, and durability.
