The theme for Abbyssian’s 2019 women’s month celebration was Hope for Our Daughters. Reverend Dr. Neichelle Guidry, who is the Dean of Chapel at Spelman College , delivered a powerful word to the congregation. Dr. Guidry says, “ the spirit often says sing when the world tells you to be quiet, when we begin to resist, when we begin to disrupt.” She goes on to ask, “What is your song that will set you free?
