• Jesus' disciples didn't recognize the significance of His interaction with the Samaritan woman. He told them to "open your eyes and look at the fields (ripe for harvest)".
• We must value people (connecting with people)
• We must add value to people (influencing people)
• According to John Maxwell, we must overcome and help people to understand the correct view of God. He is not a locked gate, where He cannot be reached. God is not a garbage can, where God doesn't want us. God is not and endless ladder, where He requires never-ending climbing. 
• God is a free gift.
