In this first episode of “Every Day is Earth Day,” guest host Teresa Homsi is joined by Maddie Thomas to discuss civic engagement, a broad but imperative concept in implementing sustainable solutions. Thomas is the student coordinator for Central Civics, a program run out of the Mary Ellen Brandell Volunteer Center that works to develop civic skills and promote active citizenship.
