Davis says McCarthy is an obstacle to reining in Big Tech because Amazon, Apple and others have connections to his top staff.  The D.C. lobbyists already bought McCarthy and have their hooks in him.  They don’t want to buy a new one so they want McCarthy at all costs.  The 21 Republican Reformers who are blocking McCarthy want to restore regular order and rules so all members have a say and a vote and legislation is not controlled by only leadership and lobbyists.  Davis loves the 21 Reformers because they’re bold, courageous and they face retribution for putting the country ahead of their own interests.
