I am a big fan of mystery boxes. It's kinda like Christmas or my birthday when I get one in the mail. I was a subscriber to BamBox, but alas, they are going away. In my search to find another mystery box subscription to fill that void I discovered Antihero Gallery!

Being a big fan of comic books, they definitely scratch that itch for me. They have a plethora of really cool variant covers you can purchase directly or you can try your luck with a mystery box. I opted for the CGC Blitz Box II.

This box has one CGC graded variant comic and 6 ungraded variants. 5 of the 6 variants I received were virgin variants, which was a very unexpected boost to my haul. This box cost $132.45 with tax, shipping, and a discount. After checking prices on these comics the value comes out around $280. I find this mystery box subscription to be well worth it, especially for collectors like me that love those beautiful variant covers.

I recommend trying Antihero Gallery whether you want to just buy a variant or two or if you want the thrill of opening that mystery box.
