Walking down the path from our Grandparents’ house to our parent’s house on that afternoon and caught this scene. Autumn is still here as our beloved dearest Oma is gone.

I saw lots of things on that day, the day of her funeral. Leaves were sticking to the ground. Rain was whispering in the air. And tears were pouring down on our Opa’s cheeks.

Another Oma of mine left the Earth. Oddly enough on another autumnal day. Does it make Autumn less beautiful in my heart? I am not so sure, but indeed it’s emotionally memorable.

“Oma geht’s besser” and you are forever loved! Wir lieben dich so sehr. Thank you for being on Earth, being my last and best Oma I can ask for.

To U, thanks for being here and Good bye. I do hope we’ll see each other soon.
