Partly sunny and seasonably cool conditions are expected today with afternoon highs in the 60s to around 70 degrees in western Central Texas. As a strong disturbance lifts northeast from Mexico during the afternoon, scattered showers and storms will erupt with a threat for severe storms containing large hail and damaging winds.
