PODCAST 1844 interviews KRISTINE LEONARD YOUNG [Leonora Holsapple Armstrong's great niece], February 1st, 2021, Baha'is from Latin America will be celebrating 100 years of their arrival in Brazil, because on that date in 1921 she landed at the Port of Praça Mauá in the then Brazilian capital, Rio de Janeiro. Leonora was the first Bahá'í to reside in Brazil and in her 60 years in which she lived here she translated a large part of the Bahá'í literature in English into Portuguese. His name was given to streets and squares in Natal, Manaus, Juiz de Fora, Salvador as a tribute to his extraordinary life of service to God and humanity.
