WHAT IS A WOKE CHURCH?
1. They Emphasize the LOVE of God over the HOLINESS of God
Hebrews 12:14 (NIV-1984)
“Make every effort to live in peace
with all men and to be holy;
without holiness no one will see the Lord.”
2. They Offer an OFFENSIVE – Free Environment
2 Timothy 4:3
“For the time will come when people
will not put up with sound doctrine.
Instead, to suit their own desires,
they will gather around them a great number of teachers
to say what their itching ears want to hear.”
3. They Streamline Heaven and AIR-CONDITION Hell
Matthew 13:40-42 (NLT)
40 “Just as the weeds are sorted out and burned in the fire,
so it will be at the end of the world.
41 The Son of Man will send His angels,
and they will remove from His Kingdom
everything that causes sin and all who do evil.
42 And the angels will throw them into the fiery furnace,
where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
4. They Promote the ME-ISTIC Mentality – “You’re the STAR of Your Story”
Colossians 1:18
“And He is the head of the body, the church;

He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead,
so that in everything He might have the supremacy.”
5. They Concentrate on Your POTENTIAL
over Your Depravity
Romans 3:10-12 (NLT)
10 “No one is righteous—not even one.
11 No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God.
12 All have turned away; all have become useless.
No one does good, not a single one.”
6. They Preach DELIVERANCE over Perseverance
Philippians 3:12 (NKJV)
“Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected;
but I press on, that I may lay hold of that
for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.”
7. They Believe “How You FEEL Becomes the FACTS”
Jeremiah 17:9

Deliverance - Perseverance
