On the second hour of The Big show, George and Matt kickoff the hour by taking a closer look at Mikael Backlund and Elias Lindholm's comments at the Flames' locker cleanout day. The guys discuss the futures of both players with the team and share their thoughts on what needs to happen if they are to stick around in Calgary. They also briefly look at Mackenzie Weegar's comments on the state of the Flames' arena. 

Afterwards, Ron MacLean joins the program to share his thoughts on the state of the Flames heading into the offseason, his excitement for this year's Stanley Cup Playoffs and if the Boston Bruins can break the President's Trophy curse.
