The apostle Paul shows us how antichrist will work in the end time New Testament churches.
 
2 Thessalonians 2
 
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord)  shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
 
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
 
In 1982, God explained to me the "falling away" spoken of in this scripture.
 
The falling away are not people leaving the church.  The falling away are the churches leaving the scriptures.

The apostle John showed his church group that there were already MANY antichrists in their own church group.
 
I John 2:18  Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
 
The apostle John shows us that antichrist is not one man as churches today are teaching but rather antichrist is a spirit in many men.
 
1 John 4:3  And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

The apostle Paul speaking to the Elders of the church at Ephesus:
 
Acts 20
 
17 And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.
 
18 And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,
 
19 Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:
 
20 And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,
 
21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
 
22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:
 
23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.
 
24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
 
25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.
 
26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
 
27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
 
28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which HE hath purchased with HIS own blood.
 
29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
 
30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
 
(The elders would rise up among them "speaking perverse things" to draw away disciples to themselves ... setting up other denominations ... antichrist ... setting up things in the churches which are opposite to the doctrines of Christ.)

When Jesus returns, HE will destroy antichrist churches, ministers and followers of those false doctrines.
 
2 Thessalonians 2
 
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming:
 
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
 
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
 
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
 
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
 
I believe Jesus is coming soon.
