Daily Wisdom  – Motivational Podcast – Day 349 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond

At a certain age in life we find ourselves satisfied with our own achievements. We look around and we say, “I’ve done well. I’m okay. I have done everything that I can.” The truth is: “Are yourself are you truly satisfied with your achievements? At least your past achievements until today?”

The fact is, you shouldn’t be. You should never be satisfied with your own past achievements. Now people may say, and even tell yourself, that if you’re never satisfied with your own achievements you will drive yourself crazy. Why is that?

Ignore these people, don’t listen to them. Look at what you’ve done, and if that was good, double it. Double is always better, stronger, higher, and much wiser. Don’t let what you’ve done be the final measure of who you are. Let that be only the beginning of what you can do, and all past achievements, don’t use them as an excuse to stop, but as an incentive to grow higher and better. Don’t let anything be your final step. Let it all be the beginning of great achievements, opportunities that are given to you, and strength that you can develop over time.

As we grow older, while we are given more and more to do, we are also given the strength, wisdom, and complete assistance to do what we have to do. Life on Earth is limited, it is not eternal. Eternal is not given to any human being. Eternal is given perhaps to other creations but not human beings. The set time that we have is for a specific reason, and I suggest that you use every single opportunity to make your world and the world around you such a beautiful place to be. Not just for your own accomplishments, but for the benefits of everyone else. Not at the expense of others, but at the service of others. This is what doubling your efforts will do. Double is always better. Everyone should do this at all times. Everywhere and in whatever we do every single moment.
