Gloria Trevi is like Mexico's Madonna, a superstar, but her fame is tainted with a dark past. In 2000, she was detained in Brazil with her producer/manager and abuser Sergio Andrade. Though she was eventually found not guilty of all charges, she is facing a new lawsuit as of 2023.
