Stephanie Franklin achieved success working in ad technology, but corporate life felt limiting and soulless. The death of her mother and the COVID pandemic made her rethink her life. Stephanie gave notice and pursued her interest in wine, traveling in Europe. After much red tape, she secured an import license and in 2023 launched FlyWines, a subscription wine service that curates small batch wines from under-represented vineyards. Stephanie shares her experience as a start-up entrepreneur.
