A California man has been charged with threatening the life of Florida First District U.S. Congressman Matt Gaetz in a January 9th phone call. 58-year-old Eugene Huelsman, of the Thousand Oaks community near Los Angeles, was taken into custody last week in his home state, Northwest Florida Daily News. He is scheduled to make an initial appearance to face the charges at 11 a.m. Friday in U.S. District Court in Pensacola. Court documents filed in the case say Huelsman called Gaetz's office from out of state and spoke words QUOTE "containing a true threat to injure the person of another." UNQUOTE
