Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said Monday that he plans to QUOTE "take a look" UNQUOTE at the guidance on COVID-19 booster shots before deciding whether to get one, the Herald Tribune reports. While DeSantis deflected answering whether he will get a booster shot during the visit to a manufacturing facility in Venice, he did seem aware of some of the guidance coming out on boosters from the C-D-C. QUOTE "I know they're talking about mixing and matching different stuff so we'll see," DeSantis said. The CDC is recommending that everyone 18 or older who received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine more the two months ago receive a booster shot. For those who received the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines, a booster only is recommended for elderly individuals, adults who live in long-term care facilities, adults with underlying medical conditions or adults who work or live in high-risk settings.
