If we dwell on a thought long enough, it will eventually dictate how we act. A focus on negative thoughts will lead to negative actions. A focus on positive thoughts will lead to positive actions. Taking our thoughts captive will allow us to focus only the thoughts that will bring glory to God, when we decide to act on them.
