There is a lot to be said about Water Baptism, as well as a lot of thoughts and understandings of what Baptism really is and what the bible teaches us about it. What we confidently know is that baptism is not something we do as Christ followers because it's the "church thing to do", or because it's a formality in our walks with God. We also don't do it as a means of repentance or to gain salvation. That work must be done in the heart first. In its final analysis, Baptism is simply the outward declaration of an inward transformation. It is the proper and biblical response to the change in character that is initiated by real repentance, and developed by enduring obedience to Jesus. We receive baptism to receive the outward mark of sanctification, but more importantly, because we as His people are in love with Him.

Fill the city with Jesus. This is the vision not just for our church, but for our people.
The city is not just a physical location, but a collection of our family members, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances. How can you bring Jesus to your city?
