MIGHTY GOD | EVERLASTING FATHER, PRINCE OF PEACE, and WONDERFUL COUNSELOR 

Once a year, we gather around a tree and open gifts. For some, this is a tradition that is as old as time, but it goes beyond trees and presents. The origins of Christmas are found with God’s Son being born on earth. A gift that we truly are still unpacking in all its riches and glory. Oftentimes, our prideful heart makes life and all of its gifts about - ourself, but the story of Christmas is about God. It always was, and always needs to be. He will not share His glory with anyone. In the reading of Luke 2:1-51, find how the “Mighty God” is seen as an ‘Everlasting Father,’ Prince of Peace,’ and ‘Wonderful Counselor.’
