In a season of seeking God, we can hit some obstacles, roadblocks, and potholes that make the trip a bit more rough. During longer rides, this becomes exhausting. You might begin to question if it's worth it. You might be tempted to quit and begin to doubt. This is the time where breakthrough happens, where we don't need to be tempted to do this in our own strength or vigor or even discipline but rather through the Spirit. Easily said, but how do you rest and let God fight your battles? Repentance. Kill the sin that is trying to resist being pushed aside. That’s when times of refreshing, rest, and life abundantly come because it's that act alone that draws the presence of God.
