esus returns to his hometown of Nazareth to speak in the synagogue. His message would shock and outrage his friends and neighbors to the point of even killing him. God’s word still shocks and outrages people. But it’s not our job to change it. Rather, if we will listen closely to Jesus we will find he has fulfilled God’s promises for us, bringing us rest and relief. January 27, 2019.
