Matteo Pavoni is 30 years old and been working in the coffee industry since he was 19.
After 5 years in the UK speciality coffee scene he moved back to Italy and started Peacocks Coffee to source and offer the most characterful coffees he could find, focussing on enhancing the work of those small coffee producers around the world pursuing quality.
Winning the Italian national championship in 2022 allowed him to travel to Australia and compete at the World Championships where he placed 11th amongst the best baristas in the World!
This is for him a huge achievment as he oversees sourcing, roasting and brewing of all Peacocks Coffee projects.
Beside coffee he loves reading, soccer and music.
