   Back from a week on the road at the National Farmers Union Convention in Scottsdale, Arizona. 

   Our regulars joined us in the 9:00 Business Show—

   Jodi Schwan---Sioux Falls Business—she shared the work and attention at the Sioux Empire Mall---insight on next steps towards a Convention Center upgrade---intriguing proposal in Central Sioux Falls from Tre Ministeries----

    We talked about the President at SE Tech announcing he will be leaving this summer---after a whirl-wind time helping our Tech School Students.

    Jodi shared the work she does not only in her landing spots---but with us on Friday. Quality work----and we appreciate that she shares with us---as well as our friends at KSFY—and their other channel locations.

     Her interviews and talks with us become a part of our Podcasts----that Norm Anderson posts for this Friday show-----and it gives us the feel of working together with her professional style of reporting and sharing by word of mouth as well.

     Jesse Schmidt---BBB of South Dakota—today talked about RIKM---recently there was a business called Alder-spring Ranch it had all the markings to let BBB know it was a scam. People lost $11,000 –that BBB had heard. It is similar to the Omaha Steak Factory that we saw earlier his year---once the website check out page there was no collection https: Consumers lost money and gave out their personal info including their credit card information, address and whatever the company could get.

      Beware there is only One Omaha Steaks.

     9:19---we talked with the folks from the 57th Annual 2024 Sioux Empire Sportsmen’s Show—Chuck Best Twiggy and yes—Mike Costanzo shared the details with their squirrels and we were happy to work with the. The show has special offers on the newest fishing boats and pontoons as well as gear and gadgets. 

      9:32----Ron Nelson—Nelson Commercial Real Estate talked with us about getting the most out of your Commercial Real Estate Broker.

      We talked about Real Estate Brokerage commissions----generally at 6% which means the owner ---selling gets 94%. How do those that do it on their own with out a professional do?  You decide for yourself---but ask those that have been thru the process---they will tell you---several good reasons for not doing it yourself---particularly when you are competing with those trying to buy----that do have representation. 

    Mr. Nelson has been doing this for a long time---he explains the process with you ---when you contact him---we help by having him in our Friday It’s YOUR Business Show 9-10 twice a month.

    Tenley Schwartz---Downtown Sioux Falls---shared the events of the weekend which does include St. Patrick’s Day events on Saturday the 16th. 

     Painting of the Shamrock on Phillips Avenue at 11AM—the parade begins at 2 starting on Phillips Avenue running from 13th to 5th. The parade will begin staging at 12:30 on Main and Dakota Avenues between 11th and 13th. 

     Traditional Irish Music----at Old Courthouse Museum 200 W 6th—from Maggie in the Meantime and Dakota District Pipes & Drums and can and dancing by Celtic Steps at the Old Courthouse Museum from 3:30-6:30.

      The Official Lucky’s at St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl is from 4PM to 12AM

       We closed the show with Diana Patterson—Sanford Career Opportunities---Internships was our center focus.
