The crew debates whether or not Alex Cora deserves a contract extension. Mego: No. I say this because not because he should not be back, but looking today, he has not accomplished much with the Red Sox. People hate a lame duck manager. 
 Another question is asked, does Alex Cora want a contract extension?  Yes, he does. They believe he is a good manager. They brought him back in after the suspension. If they have a young team they should not have a lame duck manager. He can take these kids into the next generation.
