The Los Angeles Chargers have hired Doug Nussmeier to be their new quarterbacks coach and he will be the latest tasked unlocking Justin Herbert’s potential. Nussmeier served under for new OC Kellen Moore with the Cowboys and now looks like the heir apparent at offensive coordinator. Herbert now has two former quarterbacks as his primary offensive coaches and which will hopefully help install the new system faster. The Chargers have also hired a new linebackers coach, Jeff Howard. Howard previously coached defensive backs with the Browns and now will be asked to turn the LB unit around for Los Angeles.
