The Pittsburgh Steelers must decide if they'll pay Terrell Edmunds and/or Damontae Kazee to stay. If not, Brian Branch or other NFL Draft safeties. Edmunds and Kazee were cheap in 2022, and probably could be again to be partners to go alongside Minkah Fitzpatrick. That crew helped total the most interceptions in the NFL last season, and as long as they're willing to take reasonable contracts to re-sign with the Steelers, they should be back. But should the Steelers be looking at the 2023 NFL Draft safety class? Branch, Antonio Johnson and Sydney Brown are all prospects that could go in the first three rounds.
Also, what goes into players who take hometown discounts? Can Cameron Sutton be a player who helps the Steelers out by taking a lower salary cap hit in his contract?
